Hi beautiful human, I'm Julie, and I teach women how to honor their bodies through movement, mindset, and macros while loving their authentic selves.

I designed this challenge because I was in a slump, constantly putting off my workouts and making excuses due to the busy summer that left me feeling burnt out and exhausted, especially with the month of August.

After taking a step back to evaluate where I'm at in my life this year, I realized I could host a challenge.

Not only to help myself get back on track and be held accountable, but I thought it'd be amazing to have a community (like you) alongside me doing it together through health, fitness, and nutrition!

Thus, the Honor Your Body Challenge is available to the public and is for any woman who is a working professional, or a busy mom can join us!

YOU'RE PROBABLY THINKING...

  • You're probably thinking, "Will it work for me..." right?
It works because we'll send you a questionnaire form to fill out that includes your body composition, goals, activity level, training frequency, personal preferences, and time constraints.

When you submit it, we'll be able to customize macros for you. All of the foods are made up of macronutrients, whether you're actively tracking them or not.
  • You're probably thinking, "Can I eat whatever I want..." right?
Yes, it's simple – as long as the foods fit within your macros (in moderation), you can have it!

It enables you to adhere to your plan long-term, manage your cravings with ease, and avoid falling back into a vicious cycle of dieting again. Isn't that amazing?

Yes, macro counting enables you to be in control of the foods you're choosing to cook or eat, but more importantly, you'll learn how to work any meal into your macros!

We want you to learn that all diets or rigid eating are temporary, adopt an "all-or-nothing" mindset toward eating, dieting, and body weight.

On the other hand, macro counting allows you to have any food you want in moderation and doesn't use "good" or "bad" labels.

It also enables you to manage your weight, cravings and experience less anxiety and mood disturbances.

In addition, macro counting (or flexible dieting) in multiple studies has continued to show that it's an effective long-term strategy, especially for fat loss and maintenance!

  • Is it hard to count macros?
It may be intimidating at first, but rest assured because we have all of the tools and resources to get you started as quickly as possible. The more you become familiar with macro counting, the better you'll get at it!
  • Do I need to have a food scale?
Yes, you'll get one of two food scale recommendations from us in the Quickstart Guide, as it is one of the essential tools to have in the kitchen, and it is even easier to learn than measuring cups and spoons!

In addition, it'll help you hit your macros more accurately, which brings you closer to your results at a quicker rate.
  • Do I have to calculate macros for myself?
No, we do all of the heavy liftings for you by creating a personalized macro calculations packet when you submit your questionnaire form.
  • Do I need to buy supplements before joining the challenge?
It's unnecessary because supplements only contribute to less than 5% of the results you're looking to accomplish.

However, we do have a list of supplements that we'd recommend for you to take a look at – but we encourage you to focus on getting consistent with your nutrition, training, and recovery first!
  • What if I have a health or medical condition?
We highly recommend you consult with your doctor, physician, or a registered dietitian before starting this challenge with us.
  • What if I am pregnant or breastfeeding?
We highly recommend you consult with your doctor, physician, or registered dietitian before starting this challenge with us, especially with the potential limitations of our nutrition and training programs.
  • What if it doesn't work for me?
If you learn and put it to practice with consistency, it'll work 100%. All of the foods provide macronutrients, so whether you choose to track them or not, you are, in effect, always eating macros.

However, many individuals give up too soon before seeing results because they are impatient with their data (e.g., weigh-ins, body measurements, progress photos).
